Tennessee Barn Doors was featured on popular HGTV program Property Brothers, where we installed a Tennessee Barn Door for the Jonathan and Drew Scott adding value and appeal to the home they worked on. Our beautiful, functional Barn Door was installed in 1 hour yesterday! They did all the dirty work at the shop and came fully prepared to install and vacuum up any small mess.
The installers were courteous and explained every step of the process and answered all my questions. Our laundry room is now functional and updated! We are going forward to put a beautiful Tennessee Barn glass door on the office! Stephen and Lance were absolutely great to work with. For many years we were in the custom remodel business with a lot of focus on wood projects.
Back in 2013 we started to get requests for rolling doors.
We made a few doors and quickly realized not only were these doors beautiful but they also saved a lot of space compared to a swing door.
We use primarily Sassafrass, Aged Pine and Knotty Alder.
Other species are available by request.
With these woods we can control the outcome of a beautiful door.
We do not use reclaimed wood as it needs to be treated properly to ensure the elimination of bugs.

Problems related to improper finishing of all surface, front, back, sides, top, and bottom of door (if purchasing an unfinished door).
For Exterior doors an EXTERIOR GRADE TOP COAT WITH A UV INHIBITOR MUST BE APPLIED on an annual basis.
