We also design and build new Windows and Doors. We also do Historical Restorations on existing Windows and Doors. Hi, I'm Denis O'Meara, owner and operator of Meara Woodworking.
My shop is located in upstate New York.
I am a craftsman with over thirty years experience in the woodworking industry, trained as a cabinet and chair maker.
In 1984, I went on to work in the historical restoration field out of my small custom mill shop in Boston's Back Bay.
I provided reproductions millwork for some of Boston's finest homes.
In the early 1990's, on invitation, I went to San Francisco to work on several restoration projects.

Our main focus is on Historic reproductions, which can range from several sash or storms to a complete order of windows and doors for a single home, or a complete period storefronts to architectural facade elements for your building.
As a small shop we manage each project with extreme care and attention to detail.
New customers first contact will be with the company Owner who has a lifetime of experience in this field and who will work closely with you to design your millwork which will incorporate the details and features you want.

At Meara Woodworking, L.L.C, our Custom Wood Casement Windows are made to the highest standards.
Our typical casement window is made with solid stock Mahogany.
We specialize in historic reproductions and traditional designs.
Our double casement windows open either in or out and also are available with no center mull to obstruct the view.
We use only solid brass, bronze or stainless steel hardware.
Our windows push out or swing in and are held in place with a sash stay or a friction hinge.
Meara Woodworking does not offer crank-out hardware.
