Wilke Window & Door Company is a family owned business founded in 1960 by Norman B. Wilke.
What started as a small one-man operation has grown to become the largest window and door showroom in the Metro St. Louis area.
In 1960, Norm purchased his first storm door from the Grandpa Pigeon's store in Koehler City, Missouri.
After he installed the door on his home in Belleville, a friend asked Norm to install one on his home.
Norm's talent was quickly recognized and soon he began installing storm doors as a sideline business in addition to his full time job at Swift Packing Company in East St. Louis, Illinois.
