It's a fun story! Barn Door Dudes and the family's third child were born at about the same time. While helping care for the baby, Dad (Ryan Bean) escaped to the garage and built his first door. Word spread. Neighbors began knocking. Another miracle was occurring: A home-based business was being born! Months later, Ryan graduated with his MBA and took the leap.
He said goodbye to his 9-to-5 corporate job, leased commercial space in Carlsbad, and started working 9-to-9 to make his dream of owning a quality woodworking business a reality. Today, Ryan, wife Chantal (11 years strong), and a team of designers and craftsmen-and their customers-create art as every door is built! This "family" of artisans is committed to designing and building doors that exceed their customers' expectations.
While our doors have been featured on FYI Tiny House Nation and HGTV's House Hunters Renovation, we are most proud of the last door built and installed.
