The Town of Liberty Grove sits on the northern most tip of the Door County peninsula and covers approximately 34,750 acres. Its 45 miles of shoreline are just one reason that more than 1,800 people have chosen Liberty Grove as their place to call home. Liberty Grove also provides many water access points along the shoreline. Liberty Grove is governed by a Board of Supervisors.

Monthly meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and are held at the Town Hall on Old Stage Road and begin at 7:00pm unless noted.

Election Information
Report
If you have recently moved to Liberty Grove or have changed your address (28 consecutive days prior to the election), you will need to register to vote.
You will need to provide proof of your residence when submitting your application.
The deadline to request to receive a ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday immediately before an election.
To ensure that your ballot is received at the polling place (Town Hall) by election day, it is recommended that you submit your request as early as possible.
Highway Committee
Report
The Highway Committee provides recommendations to the Liberty Grove Town Board and the Town Highway Department staff, endeavoring to provide safe roads for vehicles, bicycles and when practicable, pedestrian traffic using the most efficient and cost-effective methods possible.
Establish a yearly budget for recommendation to the Town Finance Committee, said budget to include capital projects to be undertaken for that year.
Formulate and keep current a 4-5-year schedule of projects to be undertaken-including but not limited to pave, chip seal, process of gravel, brushing, equipment upgrade and maintenance.
Parks & Property Committee
Report
To assist the Town Board and to facilitate the Town's Comprehensive Plan, the Committee provides leadership and guidance for the preservation and development of existing properties and future acquisitions.
A quality park system is a source of community pride and economic benefit, showcasing the natural beauty and features of the Town and inviting all to experience public spaces with safe recreational opportunities.

At such meeting the following Town officers will be elected: 3 (three) Supervisors, one of whom must be designated on the ballot as Chairman, 1 (one) Town Clerk, 1 (one) Treasurer, 1 (one) Superintendent of Schools, 4 (four) Justices of the Peace, so many Constables and as shall be ordered by the meeting, not exceeding the number provided by Law, 1 (one) Leader of Weights and Measures, and 1 (one) Overseer of Highways for each Road District in said Town.
At such meeting will also be taken into consideration, and suggested to the vote of the electors, what amount of money it will be proper to raise for surveying and building of roads, and for defraying all proper charges and expenses arising in the Town.
Cemeteries Information

Liberty Grove currently owns and operates 4 cemeteries in the Liberty Grove area.
They are Little Sister Cemetery beyond the south end of Sister Bay, Ellison Bay Cemetery on Mink River Road, Rowleys Bay Cemetery on Hwy ZZ east of Mink River Road and Trinity Cemetery behind Linden Gallery in Ellison Bay.
Because of an agreement with the Village of Sister Bay anyone who is a resident in the Village or a resident of at least 1 year at Scandia Village Retirement Center or Hearthside may be buried in the Little Sister Cemetery at the Liberty Grove Resident rate.
